Time to fess up to one of My Obsessions. You know, just one of the ~~too~~ many things I’m ~~abnormally~~ obsessed with in this humble little life of mine. And I’m not talking about any of the things I’ve already made abundantly clear to you here at Tinalicious.

Nor am I talking about…

Granted, I am obsessed with those men. Why wouldn’t I be? Look. At. Them. If RPattz and Bad era MJ don’t qualify as obsessive material, I don’t know what (or who) does! But they’re just not what (or who) I’m talking about right now.

No, you see, right now, I’m talking about Johnny. And not the Johnny I’m married to either (although I do have a healthy obsession with him too, I must say, even after 29 years with the guy). I’m talking about the one and only Johnny Depp. Just face it. He’s yummy.

Don’t you agree?!

If those two delicious photos don’t convince you, then I have one last little piece of proof positive that Johnny Depp is the very definition of the sexy-obsession-worth celebrity. Please pay close attention to his face.

Dayum, Johnny. Just dayum.

So that’s my latest obsession. And really, it could be worse. I mean, I could be obsessed with solving quadratic equations.

Now that would be weird.

It’s Monday, and even though I’ve been a bit lax in blogging of late (the reason for which is long and tedious so I don’t plan to bore you with it), and I really should be “writing” something, I am just in an MJ macro mood. So I’m macro-ing, and Michael-ing. Can ya feel me? Hmm, well, if not, just go with it. We’ll all be better for it in the end. You’ll see.

Random MJ Macros Monday

I made some random Michael Jackson Mondays for today. Sometimes it’s difficult to find a good theme for them. So today’s theme is hopefully just about being funny. Or at least worth a small giggle.

This first one is funnier if you know some back story. There’s some old home movie footage of MJ and his brothers when they were young–I think it was in the 70′s. They’re visiting family and such in Indiana, I believe. And there’s one shot of MJ talking about how he likes to shop at Goodwill…because they have really good stuff there. Something tells me he didn’t shop at Goodwill much longer after he made that statement.

This next one is from when Michael was the half time show at the 1993 Super Bowl. And just as a bit of trivia, you may not know that Michael’s performance that year marked the first time ever that the Super Bowl got increased viewers during the half time show. And yeah, MJ was known to enjoy him some KFC.

Michael loved animals, so it’s likely the spider on his face belonged to him. But even if it didn’t, I’m sure it didn’t bother him at all to have it there.

The Saturday Scream

Once upon a time, my Saturday started off like any normal day.
I was calm. Rested.

Things were good in the land of Tinalicious. The Hubs and me, we were, you know, carefree and happy to be heading to Fort Wayne for dinner and a little shopping.

So we mozy’d on out to the car.

But then I decided I’d like to grab a Michael Jackson CD from my studio outside. After all, road trips are always better with some MJ tunes playing.

So I went into my studio, and headed for my stereo and CD’s. But WTH?!
My stereo was GONE!

I don’t think I have to tell you what I did next…

Needless to say, I was so ticked. I was having bad thoughts about the low-life thieves who went into my studio, touched my things (EWW!),
and then took my stereo!

But I knew I had to calm down. So I took a moment to pause and collect myself. And I needed to figure out what to do to replace my stereo, which was almost brand new.

Then it kind of hit me. I knew what to do. I bit my lip, I was so excited.

I am sick of CD’s, AND my cell phone is eligible for upgrade in just a few weeks. So the solution is really quite simple: mp3 player + phone = iPhone! Yay!

So the Hubs is gonna get me an iPhone.
This calls for a Happy Dance, don’t you think?

And now all is well in the land of Tinalicious once again.
And the moral of the story, boys and girls?
Thieves are pathetic losers and they may make you SCREAM.
But sometimes you may end up with a new iPhone.
And maybe even a lollipop.

MJ Macros 3-21

I really need my Michael Jackson Macros this Monday. When I need a little giggle to get me going, these always do it for me. So I just picked a few random ones I’ve found on the Web and have saved. Hope you’ll enjoy them as you start your week, and hope you get a little giggle too.

This first one is Pepsi related. Pepsi was a long time sponsor and supporter of Michael Jackson. But fans like to joke that MJ didn’t even like Pepsi. Not sure if there’s any truth to it, but if there is, that makes this macro even more funny.

Lots of fans find it just a wee bit humorous that Michael’s brother, Jermaine named one of his sons Jermajesty. One has to stop and wonder if MJ did too.

And for this one, it doesn’t need much explanation. If Michael’s fans got all worked up about standing next to their idol, the King of Pop, why wouldn’t a member of the animal kingdom?!

This last one I love. MJ was very close to his little sister, Janet. And based on what’s been said about the relationship, I could totally see this happening.

80s Era MJ Macros

Today’s MJ Macros all feature Michael back in the day, um, my day, the 80′s. I made the first one, but the other two I found online. They did make me L-O-L. For reals. So naturally I wanted to share them with yous. [And no, there's no particular reason why I'm making random words plural today. That's just how I rolls sometimes.]

MJ was good friends with another 80′s star, Emmanuel Lewis.

And it wouldn’t be 80′s MJ without a sparkly jacket, now would it?

No doubt about it, folks. Michael Jackson ruled the 80′s! Gawd I miss those days. You know, when Moonwalking had nothing to do with NASA; when glittery socks and a fedora meant MJ was getting his Billie Jean on; and when Thriller was the number one selling album of all time. Oh, shamone…wait a daggone minute…

Since I haven’t posted any MJ Macros for a bit, thought it’d be a fun and 0h-so-Tinalicious-way to end this Monday. All 3 macros have a looking at Michael sort of theme. OK, so I was reading the Never Growing Old blog the other day and saw a photo of the Black Eyed Peas, when it kind of hit me. Fergie is seriously channeling her inner Michael Jackson. So I think it’s clear that Fergie is indeed channeling her inner Michael Jackson. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. Lots of stars do it. Even if they won’t admit it. But it’s all good. You know what they say…imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Some people even make whole careers out of it.
